The government may no longer be minting pennies, but ARF is still having a Penny Social! The Spring Fling Penny Social is returning on Sunday March 22, but at the new location of Hidden Rose Catering in Wappingers Falls.

Enter to win gift baskets, toys, gift certificates, pet supplies, books & MORE. You’ll find a great selection of items from vintage to retro to modern. Plus a silent auction and raffle featuring a 65” television and many other items… there’s something for everyone! Snack food will be available and the setting will allow for, weather permitting, strolls outdoors and seating on the patio. We hope to bring an adoptable dog or two!

This event will honor Donna Brooks, an ARF volunteer who passed away last year and her husband Mark is sponsoring the event venue.

$5 Admission and Penny Social tickets available for purchase. Silent auction and raffle items will be priced separately.

What is Penny Social, you ask? A Penny Social is a fun fundraising event that combines elements of raffles and silent auctions.

How does a Penny Social work? What are the rules?

• Guests explore items and gift baskets on display, as they would at a silent auction.
• To place bids, leave tickets in the bags placed in front of your favorite items. You can leave as many tickets as you like for each item.
• Once everyone has “spent” all their tickets, the event caller will pull a random ticket from each basket and announce the lucky winners. Winners must be present for the drawing to collect item.

Wheelchair accessible entrance, parking lot and restroom. No animals please, except for valid service animals. Children welcome.
