Wish List FAQ
When and where can I drop off donations?
Our address is 54 Simmons Lane in Beacon, NY. We are the brick building.
Volunteers are guaranteed to be in the building 8-9:30am and 5-6:30pm. If those times aren’t convenient for you, you are also welcome to leave your donation outside our door as long as the weather is dry and there’s an note explaining what the donation is.
I have items not included on your wishlist.
We are so grateful for the kindness of those who wish to donate to our shelter! While we appreciate every offer, our storage space is limited, and some household items don’t translate well to a shelter environment. To ensure donations best support our animals, please check our wishlist or our Chewy and Amazon lists.
If you’d like to double check on a specific item, please feel free to message us on Facebook or Instagram. We can get back to you fastest on social media.
Some commonly donated items we unfortunately cannot use include:
- Puppy pee pads
- Opened food bags or treats
- Pillows
- Comforters
- Dog crates
- Cat carriers
Even if we don’t use the item you’re looking to donate, another local organization might be in need!
